A few details about the role:
Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care, and assist residents with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and moving residents, and transporting them to dining rooms and activities.
Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting any changes or unusual findings to the nurse.
Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs and maintain records of ADLs.
Administer standard precautions and infection control standards, providing a clean and safe environment.
Promptly answer call lights and regularly assess residents’ needs to verify they are met.
Qualifications required:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum one‑year experience working with the geriatric population.
Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.
