Situated on our lush campus in Oakland, we provide assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to meet a variety of healthcare needs. We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where innovation and compassion drive everything we do.**Our Maintenance Technicians:*** Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include, plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.* Prepare and organizes materials and equipment before starting a task.* Report equipment/items to supervisor that need repair immediately.* Responds to occasional building emergencies as needed by the supervisor.* Report all incidents/accidents to supervisor.* Perform daily rounds and check of various systems as assigned, including related record keeping.* Other duties as assigned.**What you need to succeed:*** Must be at least eighteen years of age with the ability to read, write and speak English.* Formal training in vocational school or trade apprenticeship program preferred but not required.* A minimum of 1 years building maintenance work experience.* Completion of a background check. In some regions, pre-hire process may include physical, TB test, drug screen, and/or fingerprinting per state/local guidelines. **Physical Requirements Include:*** Ability to work in different physical positions to complete tasks, while providing a variety of physically demanding maintenance-related tasks inside and outside the building.* Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment.* May need to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
