Position Summary: The Simulation Center is seeking motivated work-study students to assist in the daily operations of the Lipscomb University Simulation Center. Students will gain hands-on experience supporting healthcare simulation and clinical skills training. Must be a current Lipscomb University student. May be federal work study eligible.
Responsibilities
Assist with setup and teardown of simulation and skills lab events
Operate manikins and simulation control systems during training sessions
Serve as standardized patients (actors) in simulated scenarios
Help with moulage (applying simulated injuries or clinical findings)
Maintain and organize supplies, equipment, and storage areas
Support faculty and staff with general simulation technology and logistics tasks
Qualifications
Must be eligible for Federal or Institutional Work-Study
Dependable, professional, and willing to learn technical and clinical processes
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Interest in healthcare, technology, or education preferred
Schedule:
Flexible, 8-12 hours per week during academic semesters
