Akkodis is seeking a
Data Center Technician (Junior)
for a
Contract
with a client in
New Albany, OH . The ideal candidate will perform hands-on data center operations including replacing computer parts and running ethernet/fiber cables while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Note: 2nd Shift - Team 1 / 4 day 10 hr shift Sun-Wed 2pm -12:30am. Compensation
Rate Range:
$22.58/hour to $23.58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Responsibilities
Replace computer hardware components and perform basic repairs following defined processes. Run and install ethernet and fiber optic cables in accordance with established standards. Assemble, disassemble, and populate/depopulate equipment racks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the data center environment. Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools for inventory and tracking. Follow detailed instructions and collaborate effectively with team members to complete assigned tasks. Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of relevant experience in hardware handling or data center operations Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment Basic knowledge of computer components and proficiency with common computer applications (email, chat) Notes
