Job Overview
The role of the
Warehouse Associate IV – Receiving Clerk
is responsible for the receipt of inbound deliveries (direct and indirect purchases) entering the facility. As a receiving clerk, you will perform visual inspections on inbound shipments, validate whether shipments have hidden damage, shortages, or overages, and resolve the inbound deliveries by utilizing the Discrepancy Log process.

A Day In The Life
Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
Physically receive inbound deliveries by counting and reconciling products against packing slips.
Assist the inbound team with system movements to and from non‑standard locations (Hfloor, 3000 Management, etc.).
Notify the buyer of any hidden shortage or overage within 48 hours of receipt, provide proof to the buyer, and complete the discrepancy log for the lead clerk.
Identify all shipments that do not conform to standard storage and marking information and correct them.
Perform inventory adjustments to correct inbound delivery issues as permitted by company inventory adjustment procedure.
Complete indirect material receipts as required.
Monitor and respond to email and phone calls in a timely manner.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
Qualifications
Five (3) years’ experience in a high‑volume warehouse environment is required.
Three (1) year experience in an Associate II role.
Working knowledge of SAP (ECC & EWM).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work for a maximum of nine hours per day.
Willingness to embrace the Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
