Maintenance Technician - Harbor Portfolio
Join Monroe Group Ltd. as a Maintenance Technician. Under the supervision of the Community Manager, this full‑time role ensures building and residential areas meet safety, appearance, and operational standards within the budgeted financial goal. The position includes oversight of outside contracts and vendors.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structure.
Conduct property and unit inspections.
Maintain property curb appeal and general cleanliness.
Schedule and maintain Make‑Ready Board.
Purchase materials & manage budget.
Ensure that maintenance teams deliver safe, decent, and sanitary housing to all residents.
Location Milwaukee, WI
Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance with FSA and HSA; company‑paid life insurance; short- and long-term disability; 11 paid holidays; vacation and sick time; 401(k) with 4% match. Sign‑on bonus of $500 and retention bonus of $1,500 available. Pay up to $25.00 per hour.
Requirements
Previous experience in apartment/multi‑family maintenance.
English language proficiency (read, speak, write).
Ability to pass a full background check.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge.
Experience in an affordable housing environment preferred.
Technical training and license preferred.
