Job Responsibilities
Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and reporting times.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, sexual harassment, safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.).
Perform duties deemed integral to the job, including fulfillment of work schedules and adherence to attendance policies.
Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times while on duty.
Operate or receive training for facility metal detectors if assigned.
Exercise work rules, safety rules, and GMPs.
Pan Machine Operator Tasks
Set up all equipment according to established standards (pan system, model‑K, pan‑O‑mat, proof box, oven).
Ensure even continuous flow of proper pans into the pan‑O‑mat.
Set up equipment in the pan system and cooling system per established procedures.
Ensure proper stacking of pans and storage in designated area.
Divider Operator Tasks
Operate dough pump/kneader, divider, rounder, and overhead proofer to achieve desired dough size and speed.
Set up divider.
Ensure proper weight and speed for each product variety per standards.
Assist in mixing dough.
Moulder Operator Tasks
Set up all equipment per established standards (sheeter rollers, flour sifters, guide rails, plow settings, pan guides).
Ensure dough pieces are proper size and length.
Maintain proper sheeting, moulding, and panning per production standards.
Remove all double dough pieces from pans.
Coating/Prep Control Operator Tasks
Ensure proper preparation of icings per formula and scheduled standards.
Align product properly as needed.
Monitor icing roller or T‑bar for proper coverage.
Record icing mix confirmations in Enterprise software.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) or more years of related experience.
Essential Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, automotive maintenance/repair). Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or at least 45 college credit hours may substitute for technical training.
Technical certification course may include the completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course.
