Liberty Health . With Compassion. Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker.
Job Summary
Service facility equipment per schedules.
Change HVAC filters per schedule.
Monitors equipment safety and repairs as needed.
Complete resident personal work orders and billing forms.
Connect and troubleshoot T.V. and cable issues.
Monitor grounds per schedule and ensure cleanliness.
Monitor interior of community daily and ensure cleanliness.
Remove trash per schedule.
Perform generator testing per schedule.
Perform minor carpentry repairs as needed, including but not limited to:
Painting
Sheetrock repair
Repair of furniture
Perform minor electrical repairs and/or cleaning, including but not limited to:
Replace receptacle
Replace light bulbs
Set up electrical strip and cords
Replace light fixtures
Clean light fixtures and covers per schedule
Perform minor plumbing repairs and/or cleaning, including but not limited to:
Replace wax gasket in commode
Un-clog toilets
Repair faucets
Change filters on ice machine per schedule
Replace toilet tank parts
Clean drain in common area bathrooms per schedule
Replace shower head and hose
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Must be a high school graduate.
Must have knowledge of general maintenance.
Must work every other weekend with rest days off during the week.
Must carry phone and respond to maintenance needs when on call.
Must be willing to work odd hours if emergency arises.
Must be able to write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions.
Must attend all required meetings.
Must be kind and respectful to residents and coworkers.
Must demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
Must read, know and follow personnel, department and facility policies.
Must know how to reset fire alarm panels and pull stations.
Must be able to locate and operate all fire extinguishers.
Must know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility.
Must be knowledgeable of the functions of all roof equipment as well as other equipment in general.
Must be willing to work as Housekeeping Assistant/Porter, Laundry Assistant or Grounds Assistant as needed.
Must have valid State Driver’s License in good standing and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
Must follow community approved dress code.
