Responsibilities Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the
Checker
is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets.
Must bend, stand, stoop for prolonged periods. Physical requirements include lifting up to 60 lbs. Visual and auditory requirements apply.
Qualifications
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Present information effectively to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
