Temporary - Receiving and Replenishment Warehouse Worker (7am - 3:30pm shift)
Support the Church’s mission by performing daily receiving, warehousing, selecting, and shipping tasks. The incumbent will replenish inventory, audit, document, and ship materials domestically and internationally, while operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (overtime as business needs dictate, will be informed ahead of time).
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Unload inbound shipments and verify products against purchase orders.
Stage items for put‑away and replenish pick locations from bulk storage.
Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment to move inventory safely.
Review and interpret receiving documents; verify quantities and inspect for damage.
Record item details (weight, dimensions, specifications) in the warehouse management system.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and adjustments.
Complete equipment checklists and ensure safe operation of warehouse vehicles.
Assist with general warehouse upkeep, equipment maintenance, and work area cleanliness.
Prepare pallets and assist in loading trailers for outbound shipments when needed.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent with basic math and computer skills.
Preference for those with previous warehousing, material handling, or related experience.
Experience operating motorized material‑handling equipment including forklifts preferred.
Valid operator’s license for heavy machinery equipment and onsite training and certification.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be able to read and understand English.
Must be able to physically lift/move/push/pull items up to 50 lbs alone or up to 100 lbs with two people.
Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps to store/retrieve items, and operate a pallet jack up to 2,500 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be Temple Recommend worthy or have a current Temple Recommend.
