Overview Lutron is looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Operations Assistants at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this role, you will provide critical support to various Engineering teams, helping them stay focused on innovation by improving overall efficiency and conserving valuable time.
As an Operations Assistant, you’ll gain hands‑on experience and insight into:
Lutron’s industry-leading product portfolio
— including dimmers, sensors, and smart home controls
Our product development planning process
— from concept to launch
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools
— essential for managing workflows and operations

Responsibilities
Coordinate Alpha/Beta testing plans
to ensure timely execution and accurate feedback collection
Maintain documentation and records
for engineering projects and operational processes
Collaborate with IT and Facilities teams
to secure equipment for new hires and support onboarding activities
Plan and organize physical workspace
to optimize team efficiency and comfort
Manage vendor relationships
by processing purchase orders and invoices accurately and promptly
Oversee inventory and order entry
for raw materials and finished goods to support engineering initiatives
Provide comprehensive administrative support
to Engineering teams, including scheduling meetings and events, handling customer service inquiries, and ordering supplies
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required; preferred area of study in Business or Business Administration
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 required
Minimum 1 year of work experience in a customer‑facing or operational role required
Must be located within commutable distance of Coopersburg, PA to accommodate in‑office schedule
