This project marks the largest contract in the Jacksonville District’s history, valued at $2.87 billion. Thalle will oversee the construction of a 17.75-mile embankment dam and associated structures. Quality Control Administrator Salary:
Competitive compensation package based on experience. Overview The Quality Control Administrator provides daily onsite administrative, documentation, and procurement support to the Quality Control team and works closely with the Quality Control Manager, QC Technicians, and project staff. This position ensures accurate documentation, timely material ordering, and organized recordkeeping to support QC compliance and daily field operations. Duties And Responsibilities Provide onsite administrative support to the Quality Control team Assist with placing material and supply orders related to QC activities Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures Maintain organized QC files, logs, and documentation (electronic and hard copy) Assist with daily QC reports, data entry, and report distribution Perform copying, scanning, filing, and document control support for QC records Track deliveries, invoices, and receipts related to QC purchases Coordinate with project staff, vendors, and suppliers as needed Support compliance with project documentation requirements and QC record retention Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive project information Assist with additional administrative and QC support tasks as assigned Education And/or Work Experience Requirements 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, construction administration, or document control preferred Experience in a construction or heavy civil environment is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced construction environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience supporting Quality Control or field operations is preferred Physical Requirements Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to move freely about a construction site that at times presents demanding terrain including ladders and stair towers, uneven and often wet surfaces, and slopes.
