Ensure adequate staffing to meet residents’ care and service needs in accordance with company standards and guidelines. Supervise direct care staff as delegated by manager/supervisor. Communicate and distribute associate schedules a minimum of one week in advance. Effectively manage and communicate changes in resident/client needs to associates. Manage on‑call/after‑hours business needs as assigned. Communicate all staffing shortages and additional staffing needs to supervisor. Operate and maintain corporate scheduling and billing computer system per company guidelines and best practices. Complete daily billing in a timely manner, ensuring state and SOX compliance regulations are followed. Review and reconcile billing on a weekly basis. Ensure billing information is complete and correct before finalizing monthly resident billing. Maintain positive relationships and rapport with co‑workers, residents, family members, and community personnel. Maintain client chart/documentation and filing practices as per company guidelines and best practices. Cover BAH cases when care associates are unavailable. Manage on‑call/after‑office hours and weekend business needs as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or GED required. Experience : Prefer one year experience working with older adults or in a related healthcare setting. Certifications : None. Decision Making : Uses limited independent judgment to make decisions based on precedents and established guidelines. Solves problems using standard procedures and precedents. Knows when to refer issues to supervisor. Skills : Working knowledge of PC techniques, Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic analytical ability. Understanding of the work environment and process. Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Standing, walking, sitting, use hands and fingers to handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Talk or hear. Lift up to 25 pounds. Vision required. Interaction with co‑workers, residents, or vendors. Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed for shift coverage. On‑call as needed.
