Overview
Americold Logistics, LLC invites applicants for the Warehouse Order Selector role, part of its temperature‑controlled logistics operations. With over 120 years of experience connecting producers, processors, distributors, and retailers, Americold values customer service, innovation, and inclusion.
Primary Responsibility Under general supervision, the Warehouse Order Selector assembles and selects cases from pick slots for store orders daily, assembling orders onto plastic pallets using a Talkman and pallet jack.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and load the voice template into the Talkman unit for specific warehouse location, ensuring all cases and pallets are properly identified, and perform count/exception on pick slot locations if quantities are less than the Talkman.
Secure selected cases, conduct final pallet preparations by wrapping the selected load and applying shipping labels, and move assembled case pick pallets from picking areas to a dock door or staging area.
Perform visual and operational vehicle safety inspections, report unsafe vehicles to the shift supervisor or maintenance personnel, observe and report other unsafe and unsanitary conditions that could cause accidents, and correct these conditions when appropriate while complying with occupational health and safety standards.
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse, uphold a safe, clean and orderly work environment and perform other assigned duties/tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and early morning shifts.
Skill in efficiently and safely lifting, stacking, and building quality pallets.
Knowledge of WIN system, inbound/outbound processes, loading and quad layout systems, and skills operating warehouse equipment such as Talkman, RF equipment, pallet jack, and high‑reach truck.
Effective communication with supervisors and department managers.
Physical Requirements
Work in spaces with 55 inches of headroom.
Work in environments ranging from 32°F to –40°F for long periods.
Basic math and reading skills.
Lift empty pallets or boxes up to 60 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
Stand up to 5 hours, walk, climb, balance, and perform tasks such as kneeling, crouching, or crawling as required.
