Job Description The General Utility Worker I serves a variety of essential back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house Food & Beverage (F&B) roles. The role requires maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment and gaining extensive knowledge of proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and record food and equipment temperature.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including pot/dish wash and deep‑clean duties.
Attend in‑house training sessions.
Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations at all times.
Comply with and assist in promoting the company’s health and safety policy.
Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to and aid chefs with checking food deliveries to accept only the highest standards of produce.
Ensure food storage aligns with food hygiene regulations and that the stock rotation system is followed.
Perform cleaning duties associated with service equipment and related furniture.
Prepare service areas and service points.
Store food items and equipment accurately after service.
