Job Overview Job Title: Board Operator Department: Programming Reporting To: Brand Manager
Audacy Atlanta is searching for talent to fill new part‑time Board Operator positions supporting local stations WVEE, WAOK, WSTR, and WZGC. This is an evergreen posting; we continually look for exceptional talent for future opportunities.
Responsibilities
Run the broadcast board, inclusive of digital editing, recording, and maintaining network feeds.
Protect the company’s FCC license.
Perform light production work as required.
Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of prior experience (preferred).
Familiarity with station format (required).
Familiarity with FCC rules and regulations (preferred).
Ability to perform with little supervision (required).
High school diploma required; college degree in media‑related major preferred.
Physical Requirements Stand, walk, sit, use hands and/or fingers, reach with hands and arms, and talk frequently. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must manipulate knobs, levers, and push buttons.
