Customer Experience Supervisor I – Lakeland Sq
Join JCPenney as a Customer Experience Supervisor I and lead associates to drive profitable sales growth and deliver outstanding customer service. This role focuses on coaching associates, driving training initiatives, and implementing checkout experience strategies to enhance store performance.
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
– Act as a role model for the Manager on Duty program, direct customer service activities, greet and assist customers, resolve issues, maximize sales, and manage credit, rewards, and gift card programs.
Cashier Performance
– Train, mentor, and coach cashier associates on checkout procedures, observe and enforce checkout experience processes, and monitor efficiency using POS productivity metrics.
Line Management & Checkout Standards
– Shift resources to checkouts based on traffic fluctuations, reduce wait times using Mobile POS, Satellite Registers, and Expeditor stations, and stock impulse futures and supply needs.
Human Resources / People Management
– Create and monitor open requisitions, coordinate interviews and hiring processes, schedule new‑hire orientations and training, and review schedules for resource optimization.
Performance Standards
– Support company shrink and safety initiatives, meet established performance standards for iCAP, product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
