Overview The Springfield-Branson National Airport seeks Airfield Maintenance Workers to keep pilots, passengers, and the community safe while traveling.
Key Responsibilities Mowing and grounds maintenance. Electrical work around the airfield. Painting and general maintenance of runways and equipment. Work in all weather conditions and subject to emergency call‑ins.
Qualifications & Requirements Two years of experience in construction or general maintenance of commercial grounds and facilities such as mowing, dirt work, sidewalks, and asphalt/concrete maintenance and repairs. Experience operating light to medium construction equipment and vehicles.
Licensing & Certification Valid driver's license. Class "B" Commercial Driver's License with air brakes within the probationary period.
Preferred Qualifications Certified Public Operator Pesticide License Category 3.
Other Requirements Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States. Drug‑free workplace; pre‑employment drug testing required. Complete the City of Springfield online application in its entirety; resumes alone will not be accepted.
