Description As a Production Operator in the slitting cell, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products from warehouse to manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
Some general duties include loading material onto machines, finished product packaging, cutting cores.
Utilizes scanning tools for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials (RF Scanning).
Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
Housekeeping and other duties assigned.
Teamwork and communication are an essential part of the job.
You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place.
Qualifications
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to work overtime as needed - during the week and weekends.
