Crystal Springs Apartments - Maintenance Technician Location: Avondale, AZ Reports to: Property Manager On-Site Hours: Full-time, Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; on-call rotation one week per month. Compensation & Benefits

Starting at

$17.00+ per hour , depending on experience. The

Maintenance Technician

position is one of the primary persons responsible for the ongoing maintenance of a multi-million dollar, multi-family property. The position reports directly to either the Maintenance Supervisor or in some cases the Community Manager and is responsible for the community's overall curb appeal, property maintenance and value. Responsibilities include maintaining the physical condition of the exterior of the property and the interior of vacant units, maintaining the Clubhouse and main office, managing vendor/management relations and supporting the maintenance department in duties as directed. Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings. Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis. Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready. Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models. Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems. Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. Meticulously maintains curb appeal. Assist management team with other various tasks required. Safety Responsibilities

Practice safe and efficient work techniques to minimize potential injuries and hazardous conditions Participate in safety meetings and inspections Ensure that material areas are kept neat and orderly Maintain acceptable levels of housekeeping at all times with regard to equipment and assigned work area and/or department Requirements

Must have High School diploma or equivalent GED Neat, clean and professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community. Other essential capabilities include commitment to meet deadlines, integrity, and work ethic Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy Pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check is required
