BECOME AN AIRCRAFT DETAILER SUPERVISOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT! Our Aircraft Detailer Supervisor supervises the cleaning and maintenance of aircraft exteriors and interiors, ensuring that all tasks are performed to high standards and in compliance with aviation safety regulations. Responsibilities include managing a team of detailers, assigning tasks, conducting quality control inspections, and ensuring that the detailing process (e.g., polishing, washing, interior cleaning) is efficient and meets airline or client expectations. The supervisor will also be responsible for training staff, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT DETAILER SUPERVISOR

Supervise detailing operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and laws as well as TSA, Customs and Security Regulations

Ensure the safety and security of detailing operations, adhering to the highest industry standards and best practices

Direct and coach activities of the station operations while affecting positive change within the operation and promoting adherence to company policies and procedures

Ensure proper and timely detailing of aircrafts

Attention to detail

Brings their “A” game every day with energy and enthusiasm, respect for their team, and the highest regard for safety

May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age or older

Eligible to work in the United States

Valid State Driver’s License with a verifiable safe vehicle operating record

Experience in aircraft or vehicle detailing

One year of customer service experience

Must have a valid state‑issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices

Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in‑person and through electronic means

Pass a background check and drug screen

Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)

Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Must be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spaces

Must be able to climb and work at elevated heights

Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels

Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals

Exposure to outdoor elements

Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms

Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers

Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
