Environmental Services Team Lead

As Team Lead, you will work to create a comfortable and safe environment by ensuring all assigned facility areas are clean, fully stocked, and organized. Your efforts help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and assist other caregivers in providing attentive patient care. Shift: Monday – Friday 4:00 pm – 12:30 am, with rotating weekends and holidays. Responsibilities
Conduct general training for new caregivers in floor care, wall washing, carpet cleaning and special procedures. Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation. Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated. Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks. Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience in Environmental Services. Leadership experience or experience providing work direction. Physical Requirements
Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting and reaching. Requires continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces. Requires regular handling and use of disinfectants and other cleaning agents and chemicals. Light Work – Exerting 11 to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $18.55 Maximum hourly: $24.81 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
