Responsibilities:
Assist the senior administrative staff with data entry and report editing.
Managing multiple deadlines and maintaining filing systems as assigned.
Make edits for formatting, clarity, punctuation, grammar, and structure of reports and proposals to company standards.
Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
Retrieves information as requested from records, emails, and other related documents.
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work independently.
Self‑motivated, driven, and positive personality, with a great work ethic.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Microsoft Word (35 WPM).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record‑keeping and filing.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
Experience in Geotechnical, Environmental, or Construction Materials Testing (Preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
