Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Landman to support non-operated oil and gas assets in the Williston and Permian Basins. This role blends traditional landman responsibilities with land administration functions and can be located in Dallas, TX or Oklahoma City, OK.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret leases, assignments, JOAs, unit agreements, and other contracts for non-operated assets
Analyze title work and ownership reports; identify and coordinate curative items with operators
Monitor operator compliance with lease terms, pooling/unitization, and contractual obligations
Track lease expirations, obligations, and deadlines
Maintain and update land and ownership data in land management systems
Coordinate document flow, recordation, and data integrity internally
Support due diligence and post-close integration
Work collaboratively with operators, legal, accounting, and engineering
Qualifications
5+ years of in-house oil and gas land experience with non-operated assets
Strong understanding of title and land data systems
Experience in the Williston and Permian Basins preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QGIS or ArcGIS and land database management
Experience supporting revenue and JIB accounting or division order teams
Background in Non‑Op A&D due diligence support
