Compensation
$16–$20 per hour

Role Responsibilities
Classroom Leadership: Plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating, welcoming space where children learn and grow. Curriculum Implementation: Bring our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life, adapting for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Safety First: Prioritize a safe, nurturing environment for all children. Family Communication: Update parents regularly via mobile apps and in‑person discussions. Center Collaboration: Partner with staff & leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals. Relationship Builder: Cultivate warm relationships with families & colleagues to foster seamless learning & play.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Extended experience in a childcare setting with classroom leadership roles. State & federal requirements: immunizations, employment physicals, required health & safety training.
Caregiving Skills
Identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting. Ensure children’s daily needs are met (diapering, dressing, grooming, feeding). Model strong communication & conflict‑resolution skills. Keep children active, engaged, and developmentally appropriate. Exhibit composure, patience, & professionalism at all times.
Physical Resilience
Stand & walk for extended periods; lift & carry objects up to 40 lbs safely. Reach, stretch, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Use a stool or ladder to access high places as needed. Supervise by sight & sound. Work outdoors during portions of the day (20°F to 95°F). Maintain mental & physical alertness, consistent energy level to meet essential job functions. Reasonable accommodations can be made with supporting documentation.
