Imaging Services Patient Experience Advisor – Fairfax, VA | Full-Time

Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area — is seeking a compassionate Imaging Services Patient Experience Advisor to help ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and cared for throughout their imaging experience.

You will serve as a trusted advocate for patients and guests, partnering with clinical and administrative teams to resolve concerns, strengthen communication, and elevate the overall experience across all Fairfax Radiology locations.

About the Role Schedule:

Full-time, benefitted position; hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Location:

Remote role after 6 months of training (occasional travel to imaging centers and to corporate office is required throughout tenure in position)

What You’ll Do

Serve as a primary point of contact for patient and guest concerns, feedback, and service recovery

Advocate for patients by addressing issues with empathy, professionalism, and timely follow-up

Investigate concerns through patient conversations, chart review, and collaboration with care teams

Ensure all interactions align with Fairfax Radiology’s hospitality standards and patient-centered values

Communicate outcomes clearly to patients and families to provide understanding and closure

Review and analyze patient feedback, NRC surveys, and online reviews to identify trends and improvement opportunities

Track, document, and report patient experience data and outcomes

Support Patient Relations and quality improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or GED required

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

2+ years of experience in healthcare, patient relations, hospitality, or customer service

Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills

Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion, discretion, and professionalism

Working knowledge of healthcare environments and patient rights preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Ability to travel occasionally to Fairfax Radiology locations
