Water Truck Driver (Paving/Milling)

Responsibilities
Drive a tanker truck equipped with water and maintain proper water levels on all assigned equipment.
Conduct daily pre/post‑trip inspections to ensure maximum vehicle safety, report any problems to the shop immediately.
Drive to predetermined destinations in compliance with commercial driving regulations and local road knowledge.
Work with paving crews to spray bituminous tack‑coat.
Maintain a truck log in accordance with state, federal regulations and company policy.
Report traffic or site condition problems promptly and obtain site location information and potential light bridge or road closures on the way to the job site.
Comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair as outlined in the Truck Driver’s Handbook.
Perform other job‑related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred or related work experience.
1‑2 years of CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
Tanker endorsement required.
In compliance with all DOT physical requirements.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License required.
Hazmat experience preferred but not required.
Skilled in loading and unloading fuel and oil from the fuel truck at terminals.
Valid driver’s license required.
