seeking a skilled
Welder/Fabricator
to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding structural steel and miscellaneous metal components according to shop drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works safely, and can operate independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
Fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous metal assemblies
Perform welding using processes such as
MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), and Flux-Core (FCAW)
Measure, cut, fit, and assemble steel components accurately
Operate shop equipment including saws, grinders, torches, and forklifts
Perform quality inspections of completed welds and assembliesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Work with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a welder/fabricator (structural steel preferred)
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Proficiency with MIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Core welding
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
AWS welding certification(s)
Experience with structural steel, stairs, railings, or miscellaneous metals
Forklift or overhead crane experience
Ability to pass a weld test
