Building Maintenance Technician

to join our Housing team. This role supports HUD apartment buildings, office locations, and program sites throughout the Milwaukee area, with a primary focus at our 7500 N. Granville location. Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and more Conduct preventative maintenance on boilers, water heaters, and mechanical systems Maintain property appearance, landscaping, and snow removal Respond to emergency maintenance calls (rotating on-call schedule) Ensure compliance with HUD, WHEDA, REAC, and local codes Monitor vendor work and maintain accurate documentation Assist with unit turnovers, equipment setup, and facility inspections Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred 2+ years of experience in building and grounds maintenance Knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety procedures Ability to read blueprints and perform heavy manual labor Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation (MVR check required) Benefits
