Maintenance Assistant and Floor Cleaner
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant with a primary focus on floor cleaning to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular floor cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing, primarily on weekends
Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of facilities
Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition
Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the premises
Assist with other custodial or maintenance duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance preferred
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Reliable, punctual, and able to work on weekends
Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
