We are seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!
Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital is a premier inpatient facility specializing in the treatment of stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, and other complex medical conditions. We are proud to be one of the few rehabilitation hospitals in the region that also provides care for pediatric patients, offering specialized services tailored to the unique needs of children and their families. Qualifications Required Skills:
One (1) year experience in Business Office or Admissions Office in a medical setting preferred.
OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Responsibilities Responsible for coordinating with patients and their families to ensure all admission requirements to the facility are met, and verifies insurance coverage. Acts as a liaison to managed care companies, facilitating admissions, hospital returns, and referral source. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
