POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities. This position involves a wide range of tasks, from performing routine maintenance to troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery according to established schedules.
Inspect and repair plumbing, electrical, and other systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and system failures promptly and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs.
Perform basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs as needed.
Maintain and repair mechanical systems.
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request replenishment as necessary.
Handle emergency maintenance requests to ensure a safe and operational environment.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors when necessary for specialized repairs or projects.
Document all maintenance and repair activities in maintenance logs and reports.
This position may require being on‑call for after‑hours or weekend emergencies.
Lawn and grounds care, including mowing, trimming, watering, and weeding.
Qualifications Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to lift, carry, and position: up to 20 lbs. regularly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 80 lbs. occasionally.
Must be able to constantly bend, reach above shoulder, grasp objects, climb, kneel, squat, twist and stand throughout shift.
Must be able to push/pull up to 150 lbs. occasionally.
Confident and comfortable operating equipment at heights up to 30 feet.
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.
Working in multiple environments including office and ambient refrigeration and freezer areas.
Work Environment:
Work hours may vary, or change based on department requirements.
The job is primarily performed in a warehouse environment.
Regularly exposed to fast moving material handling and other mechanical equipment.
Occasionally exposed to wet and or humid conditions, high and precarious places, vehicle emissions, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and high voltage electrical equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is typically low.
