Pharmacy Warehouse Clerk (Part time, 24 hours per week)
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Warehouse Clerk is responsible for shipping, receiving, packing, and coordinating with couriers to ensure timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
Adheres to all policies and procedures.
Monitors and/or participates in activities of CAPS drivers, couriers, and FedEx deliveries.
Packs products to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring scheduled delivery times are met.
Maintains warehouse; provides cleaning support to pharmacy.
Manages product disposal and destruction.
Maintains and files packing lists.
Participates in pharmacy product/supply management for clean room use.
Performs material receiving, stocking, and shipping.
Passes annual eye exam.
Schedule and Compensations Schedule: 9:30 AM–6 PM or 9 AM–5:30 PM, 3 weekdays with optional rotating weekends. Holidays/overtime as needed (Tuesday & Thursday preferred, third day flexible).
Salary range: $18.54–$20.70 per hour.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
02–04 years of related experience required; cGMP training/experience desired (training provided).
Assignments are routine and repetitive; work performed within narrowly defined parameters.
Follows established procedures and guidelines; receives detailed instructions.
Basic problem‑solving and limited judgement in resolving problems.
Contacts primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers; occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
Eye exam required.
Physical Demands
Moderate work – occasional exertion up to 40 lb.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching required with occasional sitting; frequent standing and reaching upward/downward.
Constant visual acuity with or without corrective lenses; hearing and seeing normally sufficient.
Occasional climbing stairs/ladders, sitting, walking.
Work Environment
Noise intensity moderate.
Occasional office environment; frequent warehouse and lab environment.
Exposure to moving parts and potentially toxic or caustic chemicals in some areas (occasionally).
