Join the O’Reilly Auto Parts team as a Merchandiser/Cashier. Bring your customer service skills and passion for automotive parts to a fast‑paced retail environment.
Essential Job Functions
Greet customers on the sales floor, assist in locating merchandise, and direct hard‑to‑find parts to specialists.
Check out customers, price and put up stock, and maintain a clean, front‑faced display.
Make display changes according to planograms and company guidelines.
Manage promotional signage: set up sale signs, maintain flyers, and remove promotional material when sales end.
Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
Complete store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
Act as the main deterrent for shoplifting and maintain front‑floor security.
Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker Clock in/out per company policy.
Process quick, friendly checkout for front‑floor merchandise.
Handle returns efficiently.
Assist customers when express lane is not in use.
Skills, Education, and Experience
Good math aptitude, strong interpersonal communication, and excellent organizational skills.
Prior cashier/stocking experience (desired).
Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
