Job Summary Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
Impact Areas

Report work‑related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards promptly.
Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations to meet safety and environmental guidelines.
Consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Minimize environmental impact of work activities.
Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures to maintain high product standards and reduce costs.

Experience
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on‑the‑job experience.
Education and Licensing
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience (within regulatory limits).
Possible licensing for export control or sanctions compliance.
Additional Qualifications
Active participation in continuous improvement efforts and PI events.
Proficiency with pneumatic tools and hoists.
Capability to perform minor maintenance and material handling of rear axles.
Provide own small hand tools as required.
Maintain excellent housekeeping.
Teamwork – assist other operators and work functionally across multiple tasks.
Weld/assembly job completion on schedule.
Train new welders as needed. Gather parts per axle schedule, read lists, and use process instructions.
Dispose of non‑conforming parts per protocol.
Visually inspect welds for defects.
Record axle weld counts in the Hour‑by‑Hour chart.
Verify axle information against customer tickets and schedules.
Hand‑weld parts onto axles and move axles via rotating machines.
Apply welder’s stamp mark.
Prepare for internal audits by reviewing working instruction manuals.
Review daily schedules for part requirements and anomalies.
Read and understand basic blueprints.
