Manual Lathe Operator
to join our team in
Norcross, GA .
Work You'll Do
Operate manual lathes to perform precision machining operations.
Turn outside and inside diameters to specified dimensions.
Machine internal and external threads.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand machining specifications.
Use and calibrate measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precision.
Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
Ensure the quality of machined parts meets or exceeds specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Adhere to the 5S system (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist or similar role.
Strong mathematical skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
