Assembler II - GPHE SU3- 2nd Shift

Objective:
Putting components together to build finished products, requiring strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow blueprints/instructions in a fast‑paced setting. Key duties include using hand/power tools, performing quality checks, documenting processes, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with teams, often involving repetitive tasks.
Shift schedule:
Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, overtime as needed including weekends.
Salary:
$23.50 hourly + shift .75 stipend.
Responsibilities
Accurate & consistent use of personal protective equipment (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Uniforms as required by the specific process).
Receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader / Team Manager and execute production with Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints as a base.
Report any deviations (Safety, Quality, Parts, Equipment, etc.) to Status Boards immediately and update the Team Leader / Team Manager.
Be active and engaged in Daily Status Board Meetings by explaining deviations and proposing solutions.
Review & suggest improvements for Standard Operating Procedures.
Identify waste (time, motion, transportation, inventories, etc.) elimination opportunities in your area and drive KAIZEN improvements.
Engage in daily & weekly 5S routines to achieve and sustain high 5S standards.
Explore cross‑training opportunities within different manufacturing processes to add value.
Use downtime to learn new processes and implement improvements from status board activities.
