Clearance Requirement:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information;
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
License Requirement:
Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License
Responsibilities
Responsible for the assembly, installations, modifications, and reparations of all pipes and plumbing systems.
Maintains and upgrades plumbing equipment and piping.
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on all plumbing-related equipment.
Reports to the Shift Operating Engineer.
Responsible for maintaining and upgrading plumbing equipment, piping, etc.
Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on all plumbing related equipment.
Install and/or repair various plumbing equipment (water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, etc.) throughout the facility.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of 6+ years relevant experience and a High School diploma or GED.
Must be certified/licensed in pipefitting and have a valid Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License.
Backflow Certified, highly preferable, or eligible and willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Abilities
The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform tasks, including loading, unloading, operating equipment, and transporting materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed.
Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and ladders.
Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine basis.
Possess good vision (may be corrected), color vision, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
May use a standard ladder without exceeding weight limits while carrying tools.
Identify when something is wrong or likely to go wrong (recognition, not problem solving).
Apply general rules to specific problems to produce sensible results.
Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.
