What We Want Miller Industries is seeking a

Wet Spray Painter

for our 1st Shift. The hours are 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, with overtime as required for production on weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying liquid coatings to various surfaces using spray painting equipment, ensuring high‑quality finishes that meet our standards and client specifications.

What You Will Be Doing

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking and priming as necessary.

Operate and maintain wet spray‑painting equipment, including spray guns, pumps and hoses.

Mix paints and other coatings to specified colors and viscosities.

Apply liquid coatings to a variety of materials, ensuring even coverage and a smooth, consistent finish.

Inspect finished products for defects such as runs, drips, and blemishes, and perform necessary touch ups.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What Requirements Are Needed

2+ years of experience as a wet spray painter.

Strong knowledge of wet spray‑painting techniques, materials and equipment.

Excellent color matching and blending skills.

Ability to operate and maintain spray painting equipment safely and effectively.

Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe work environment.

Team player who can also perform without supervision.

Ability to wear PPE and be clean shaven as needed to wear a respirator which involves successful completion of a medical evaluation/fit test.

Physical & Mental Requirements The job is performed in a manufacturing setting regularly exposed to noise, fumes, dirt, heat, sparks, smoke, dust, vibration, grease, moving objects/parts. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Work may include exposure to hazardous chemicals. Inside working conditions with exposure to hot and cold conditions. Must have the physical, mental strength, and endurance to perform duties. Physical ability to frequently walk, stand for extended periods of time, balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, twist, turn, and lift while performing functions of position. Must be able to reach overhead and climb ladders as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to wear a half‑face (elastomeric) air‑purifying respirator with N95 filters or full‑face respirator up to 8‑10 hours a day. May be required at times to be clean shaven to wear a respirator.
