What You Will Do
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smoothly and prevent breakdowns.
Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code.
Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.
Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you have what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.
Always work safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules.
What You Will Bring
High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
