Maintenance Technician responsible for upkeep and repair of property. Ideal candidate has general maintenance experience, excellent communication, customer service focus. Compensation
$20-$22 per hour + bonus Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm + on-call rotation as needed Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa maintenance. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of all work orders. Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety and health codes. Maintain the property’s curb appeal by ensuring grounds, building exteriors, and common areas are clean, functional, and well-presented. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate with vendors and service providers. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and completion status. Assist with vendor management, ensuring work is approved, scheduled, and completed according to company standards. Participate in the after-hours emergency on-call rotation and assist with snow and ice removal as required. Provide and maintain a basic set of personal hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, tape measure, utility knife, hammer, and cordless drill). Roundhouse will supply power tools and larger equipment as needed. Follow all safety procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety labels on equipment. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks and meet property maintenance goals. Regularly monitor maintenance software to review assigned tasks, update progress, and ensure timely and accurate completion of all work orders. Comply with OSHA standards and guidelines. Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of work. Requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year’s experience in general maintenance and repair work. Understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods of time. Ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software. Must provide required tools within 30 days of employment. This includes: 10" crescent wrench, 6" crescent wrench, thermometer, channel lock pliers 9.5 inch, channel lock pliers 6.5 inch, set of nut drives, wire crimping tool with wire cutters, set of allen wrenches, phiers, set of socket wrenches, razor knife, hammer, putty knife, non-contact voltage tester, GFCI tester, tape measure, multimeter, drill, drill bits. Preferred
Trade school or technical certification preferred. Maintenance experience in onsite multi-family housing. Experience with property management software (Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, and CRM). Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Compensation, Benefits And Employee Perks
