Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW (NE) We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med‑Trans.

This technician will be qualified to support our Bell 407 airframe and is a key role to ensure safe maintenance and timely, high‑quality transportation services to patients.

Compensation

Starting Salary: $75,473 – $110,080 annually (including 18% Geo Modifier)

IA Stipend: $2,080

Sign‑On Bonus: $12,500

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.

Manage inventory checks to ensure sufficient stock of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.

Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.

Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.

Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.

Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow AMTs and operations team members.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bell 407 maintenance experience.

Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months.

Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.

Valid state‑issued driver’s license.

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.

EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.

Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.

Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

FAA Inspection Authorization Certification.

Related experience under CFR Part 135.

Autopilot maintenance experience.

Avionics and electrical repair experience.
