Undergraduate degree required. Leadership track record evident in class, campus, community, or military experience. Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available. Program starts on the first of each month and lasts 9‑12 months. Daily commute to “city, state” required; open to relocation after program completion. Compensation and Benefits

Pay:

This position is best suited for candidates who want to gain valuable experience to launch their career with Penske. The training program will prepare you to oversee logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch, and documentation and procedure control. Hands‑on experience will help you manage driver deliveries, trailer loading/unloading, cross‑docking, and customer service operations in line with company objectives. Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to lead a small group of hourly associates in a dedicated contract carriage operation. Key Responsibilities

Motivate, engage, train, and certify associates to meet customer business objectives. Foster a safe work environment by applying safety and operational procedures. Understand and meet location‑specific customer goals and objectives. Resolve operational issues and monitor compliance using organizational and time‑management skills. Learn and apply Kaizen methodology and Lean processes. Recommend process improvements to increase dispatch productivity. Plan work assignments for effective fleet/equipment usage. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science/Analytics, or related field preferred. Demonstrated leadership through school, community, clubs/organizations, or military. Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available. Internship or related work experience in a customer‑facing role preferred. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn and navigate various technology platforms. Commitment to learning, growth, and feedback reception. High level of commitment to operations and job responsibilities. Results‑oriented with attention to detail and strong time‑management skills. Builds and maintains positive working relationships at all levels. Regular, predictable full attendance is essential. Willingness to travel as necessary and work required schedule at the specific location. Physical Requirements

Read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze information, and understand instructions. Stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs (12 kg). Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
