$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits. Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade‑up and/or companion items. Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, distribute change as requested; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required. Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, superstructures, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed. Assist with separation of food items and product placement according to policies/procedures; aid stock rotation using FIFO method. Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products. Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, deliver orders to customers as they arrive). Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned. Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate. Basic Qualifications
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications
