We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Commercial Maintenance Technician
to support our managed commercial properties. This role is responsible for maintaining building systems, completing preventive maintenance, and ensuring properties operate efficiently and safely in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on commercial building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, doors, and fixtures
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections
Maintain mechanical rooms, building equipment, and all common areas
Respond to service requests and work orders in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Troubleshoot building system issues and recommend effective, cost-efficient solutions
Maintain accurate service records and work order documentation
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
Follow safety protocols, company policies, and operational guidelines
Required Qualifications
Prior commercial maintenance experience preferred
Working knowledge of commercial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting)
Ability to read basic work orders, manuals, and safety documentation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically active work
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Professional communication skills and customer-service mindset
Ability to pass a background check
