We are located at 200 E. Touhy Ave., Des Plaines, IL 60018
LOADERS JOB DESCRIPTION The loader is in charge of making a final quality check of carts prior to loading them onto the trucks. Loaders may also be required to unload trucks in the inbound docks. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements / Responsibilities
Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors
Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift (normally 8-hour shifts)
Must be able to follow/understand customer specifications/paperwork
Must be able to speak, read and write English
Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
Must be flexible and have the ability to react to changing priorities
Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes in specifications and diagrams
Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 30lbs
Must possess basic math skills
Good attendance and punctuality
Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends or holidays
Work overtime when required
Pass a criminal background and drug screen
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform as required
Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise
This position requires being active, walking, heavy lifting and pushing 70+ lbs
Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
Full-time, permanent work, steady employment throughout the year / at least 40 hours / week plus overtime opportunities
