The Admitting Assistant provides administrative support within the assigned area. Responsibilities include operating office equipment, organizing and presenting statistical information, categorizing and filing documents, editing and distributing correspondence, and processing paperwork related to organizational business. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include: Two or more years of experience in a hospital or related medical field. Knowledge of office procedures, good telephone skills, medical terminology, typing, insurance requirements and collection practices. Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High School graduate or equivalent required. Strong customer service skills and self‑starting attitude. Demonstrated compassion and empathy when working with customers and colleagues. Benefits
