Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers’ properties from wood destroying organisms and serve as the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers.

Responsibilities

Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions Communicate to the customer critical conditions conducive to termite activity; discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided

Essential Job Functions

Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations Prepare the job site for treatment Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders You need to be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus Ability to work on roofs and high areas Lots of moving around — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles You’ll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator, and be comfortable with regularly working in confined spaces

What do you need?

Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face) High school diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided) At least 1 year of customer service; experience in termite control is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Be flexible with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us) Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
