Job Description Kingdom East School District seeks a District Maintenance Technician to work with the district and the District Facilities Manager in maintaining its facilities and equipment. The District Maintenance Technician provides service to the schools and assists the District Facilities Manager in addressing the priorities and requests that come up during the school year and throughout the summer. The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools – Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy – or another high school of their choosing.
We are located about 3 hours from Boston, Montreal and Portland, ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues. Our communities attract wholesome families, faculty and staff. Our schools maintain impassioned faculty, personalized beliefs about success, and a caring, safe school culture.
