Essential Responsibilities
Perform general repairs and minor installations for all facility issues at RTP locations Coordinate with outside vendors for larger repairs and installations for all facility issues at RTP locations Management of the maintenance and upkeep of equipment (warranty, service or preventative maintenance agreements) Ensure all facilities equipment are maintained and inspected per schedule Generate and assist with cost projections, including research and obtaining quotes for all facility related issues Manage and control all facilities maintenance responsibilities:
budget tracking/monitoring signature authority for purchases pertaining to facilities or repairs meet and negotiate with outside contractors and inspectors
Assist with monitoring facilities expenses and repair & maintenance budgets Serve as the Inotiv RTP representative for contractors etc. Be the key contact to the Sr. Director Operations for facility related issues Additional Responsibilities
Oversight and maintenance of company vehicles per schedule and as needed, including inspections and renewal of license and registration Work in a team environment with a professional and positive attitude Other duties as needed Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 5+ years performing general facility or equipment maintenance Skills:
General knowledge of facility operations, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Possess strong written, oral communication and organizational skills Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds Must be reliable, able to work independently and as a team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must be an effective planner with the ability to prioritize tasks Be able to use good judgment, effective decisions, development strategies and solutions Fluent PC skills, Microsoft Office experience preferred specifically Excel and Word as well as internet and email compatible Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable under Inotiv liability insurance carrier
Working Environment
Position will require employee to be present for facility-related work at unusual hours and to be “on-call” which may result in work outside normal business hours. Additionally, if issues or emergencies arise, person needs to be present until situation is resolved satisfactorily; this also is likely to result in working outside normal business hours. Occasional weekend, holiday, and evening work required
